ABOUT

Kayleigh Young is a contemporary British abstract artist. Her artistic journey began as a search for self-expression, revisiting her practice after a career in fashion marketing. Her works are often characterised by a bold use of colour and shape, layered washes and loose mark making. Kayleigh’s compositions reveal an avid attention to balance and the dynamics of forms. Her method is ever evolving; resulting in a process of tactile discovery through a variety of mediums, led by her curiosity and intuition.

Her latest collection of works embodies Kayleigh’s playful approach to movement and intersection; created through relaxed lines, and pigments diffusing in to one another, guiding the viewer’s eye across the canvas.
